Kajamian HSS wins title

Madurai: Kajamian Higher Secondary School (Tiruchi) regained the super-seniors title after a lapse of 10 years in the 29th annual Virudhunagar PSM Mariappa Nadar Trophy State-level inter-School volleyball tournament, organised by VMJ Higher Secondary School, at its ground, here on Friday.

Murali, Regional General Manager, The Hindu, gave away the prizes.

The results: Super-seniors: Final: Kajamian HSS bt American College HSS (Madurai) 25-18, 25-20.

Seniors: Final: Kajamian HSS bt Mangayarkarasi HSS (Madurai) 25-8, 25-11.

Special awards: Super-seniors: Spiker: Praveen Kumar (Kajamian HSS); Defender: Danasekar Pandian (ACHSS); Promising Youngster: S.P. Gowatham (VMJ HSS).

Seniors: Spiker: Ilayaraja (Kajamian); Defender: Santhosh (Mangayarkarasi HSS); Promising Youngster: Anirudh Kumaran (VMJ HSS).

Cricket trials
