Official told to pay Rs. 80 lakh cess

Kakinada: Joint Collector G.S.R.K.R. Vijay Kumar ordered the District Panchayat Officer to pay Rs. 80 lakh library cess due to the Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha (ZGS), in seven days to help it overcome the funds crunch. He instructed the municipal corporations and municipalities to pay their dues immediately. Local bodies which are financially constrained, can clear their dues in two instalments -Staff Reporter
