Protest turns unruly

Sangareddy: Police used mild force to disperse students who were on the verge of rampaging the District Education Officer’s office here today. Many students, particularly girl students, were brought to the DEO’s office by the ABVP activists to protest against the proposed CBSE syllabus in government schools, lack of infrastructure and shortage of textbooks. They entered and started damaging furniture in the DEO’s office. - Staff Reporter
