Sariska tiger gets a mate

Alwar (Rajasthan): Officials of the Sariska Tiger Reserve shifted a tigress from the Ranthambore National Park on Friday, in their bid to revive the big cat population in the reserve. The tigress was airlifted by a helicopter at 11.45 after it was sedated, officials of the reserve said. Earlier, on June 28, a three-year-old tiger from Ranthambore was relocated here. — PTI
