MLC seeks changes in BPS

MLC M.V.S. Sarma has urged the Chief Minister to make changes in the building penalisation scheme (BPS) and extend the last date to December 31, 2008 and allow payment in easy instalments. In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister, the MLC wanted flats up to 1,000 sft be exempted from the BPS treating them on an equal footing with RCC houses in 100 sq.m.
