Lokesh in lead

Udhagamandalam: P. Lokesh of Chennai edged out citymate S. Siddarth to emerge the sole leader in the boys’ section with eight points after the ninth round of the Tamil Nadu State sub-junior chess championship here on Friday.

Overnight joint leader R. Dinesh Kumar settled for a draw against P. Ganesh of Chennai and slipped to the second spot.
