Two held with leopard skin

NEW DELHI: Two men allegedly trying to sell a leopard’s skin have been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police. One of the accused had allegedly killed the leopard for the skin.

Acting on a tip-off that the duo would meet in Samaipur Badli to strike a deal, a team led by Inspector Sanjeev Parmar laid a trap and arrested them with the leopard skin on Thursday.

During interrogation, the accused identified themselves as Mahesh, a resident of Madangir in South Delhi, and Mohan, a resident of Uttarakhand.
