Girl dies in accident

Thrissur: A girl was killed after being hit by a lorry when was crossing the road at Pariyaram in Chalakudy on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Dona, 7, daughter of Poovathingal Pottokkaran Paulie. She was a third standard student in Kutticaud St. Sebastian’s School. The police said the incident occurred around 11.30 a.m. — Staff Reporter
