Four golds for Indian judokas

NEW DELHI: India won four golds, one silver and three bronze medals in the second Asian Youth Judo Championship held in Sana’a, Yemen, recently.

According to a Judo Federation of India statement, India finished second in both the boys’ and the girls’ sections.

Medal winners: Gold: Baljinder (42 kg), Amit Kumar (50 kg), Sandhya Devi (48 kg), Pooja Dhanda (57 kg). S ilver: Ichal Devi (63 kg). Bronze: Neha Thakur (40 kg), Sushila Devi (44 kg), N.K. Romen Singh (60 kg).
