MUMBAI: The armed forces held an inter-faith religious service in the memory of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Parsi, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christianity priests offered prayers. Mr. M.R. Shroff, president of the Parsi Panchayat shared anecdotes about the Field Marshal’s charisma and the high respect he commanded. An audiovisual highlighting his life and work was shown. Major General R.K. Hooda, General Officer Commanding Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa Area, Rear Admiral M.P. Muralidharan, Flag Officer Maharashtra Area and Air Vice Marshal M.
