Temple burgled

HASSAN: Burglars broke into the Kalikamba temple in Holenarsipur on Friday night and took away ornaments and an article made of Pancha Loha — all valued at Rs. 6,000. Superintendent of Police K.V. Sharatchandra said here on Sunday that the burglars also broke open the “Hundi” and took away Rs. 2,000. On a complaint by Archak Srinivasa, a case has been registered in Holenarsipura town police station. — Staff Correspondent
