Anilkumar in lead

KOCHI: Kozhikode’s seasoned O.T. Anilkumar defeated Ernakulam’s P.V. Gireesh and maintained his winning run in the Antony Thyparambil all-Kerala chess tournament at the Fathima Church Parish Hall, Elamkulam, on Sunday evening.

Anilkumar, who has five points from as many rounds, leads the field after the penultimate day’s action.
