Abburi Kalakendram released a CD of Sri Ramadasu Kirtanalu titled Telugu Sangeetham, at a programme organised by Visakha Sahiti on Saturday. The rendering of 16 popular kirtans by haridasu Kandula Satyanarayana in traditional folk art style, was recorded by the Abburi couple – Gopalakrishna and Prameela, with assistance from Chalasani Krishna Prasad and Bobba Dhavaleswara Rao.

Visakha Sahiti president K. Malayavasini appreciated the efforts of Abburis’ who were tirelessly working towards preserving the cultural heritage.
