EIC gets ISO-9001:2000 certification

NEW DELHI: Export Inspection Council (EIC), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has been granted the status of an ISO-9001:2000 organisation by the Netherlands’ DNV. EIC, which is providing services to Indian exporting community, has been implementing an integrated computerisation project (ICP) in the organisation in order to automate all its activities.
