SEZs ensure employment

HINDUPUR: Principal Secretary of Industries Sam Bob on Monday stated that the Special Economic Zones were ensuring large scale employment to rural youth.

Managing Director of APIIC B.P. Acharya said 1,000 acres was given to industrial estate here in 1997 and another 1,000 acres was being given for a SEZ near Gollapuram. He hoped that Hindupur could become a major industrial hub. –Staff Reporter
