Fake naxals held

Sangareddy: Siddipet police have arrested four persons who have been collecting money from merchants in the Karimnagar-Siddipet belt, posing as naxalites. Sinivas Goud, Prakash, Kishan and Rajnarsu demanded Rs. 5 lakh from a cloth merchant Jagannat-ham of Sircilla. The police found Rs. 50,000 paid by the merchant as first instalment and some fake letterheads. — Staff Reporter
