Surrenders

PANAJI: Jagdesh Singh, accused in the Margao arms seizure case linked with the recent communal tension in Margao, on Tuesday surrendered in Margao police station. The Margao police on Monday interrogated Prem Singh, father of Jagdesh Singh, who had allegedly sold swords to Bashir Sheikh, main accused in the Margao arms seizure case. A team of Goa police, which had gone to Karnataka on Saturday in search of Jagdesh Singh, found his father in Belgaum and brought him to Goa for interrogation. — Special Correspondent
