Cash and jewels stolen

MADURAI: Unidentified miscreants decamped with gold jewels weighing 12 sovereigns and Rs. 5, 000 in cash from a house in HMS Colony.

Abdul Rahim (70) had been to Tirunelveli on June 30 to his relative’s house. When he returned on July 7, he found the valuables missing.
