Water level

MADURAI: The level in the Periyar dam on Tuesday stood at 128.60 feet (full level 136 feet) with an inflow of 243 cusecs and a discharge of 1,501 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 58.63 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 907 cusecs and a discharge of 941 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 4,190 mcft. Marudhanadi recorded 5 mm of rainfall followed by Tekkadi 2 mm.
