In case of emergency there will be two more hours power cut during night VIZIANAGARAM: With the monsoon playing truant and power generation dropping further, the Transco has imposed five and half hours power cut in rural and urban areas, except Vizianagaram, the district headquarters town, where it would be for two hours from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. every day. In case of emergency, there would power cut for two more hours during night in Vizianagaram. The load shedding that began with immediate effect will remain in force for five days, according to D.R.K. Prasad, SE (Transco) in a release. He asked industries to utilise lighting load alone from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The power cut will be in force under each 33/11kv sub-stations from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., 12 noon to 2 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Parvathipuram, Sitanagaram, Komarada, Nellimarla, Gurla, Sathivada, Cheepurupalli, Garbham, Komatipalli and Therlam; from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in Dharmapuri, Denkada, Natavalasa, Govindapuram, Vontithadi, B. Koneru, Poolbaugh, Dasannapeta, L. Kota, Malliveedu, Vepada, Kothavalasa, Rajapulova and Savaravilli; from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Bobbili, Growth Centre, Salur, Pachipenta, Gajarayunivalasa, Ramabhadrapuram, Piridi, Bhoorja, Balijipeta, Makkuva, Mamidipalli, S.
