Bangalore: Even as civic authorities claimed that they are doing their best to tackle the outbreak of vector-borne diseases in the city, close to 30 suspected cases of chikungunya and dengue have been reported at city hospitals on Wednesday. While two persons with symptoms of dengue and seven with symptoms of chikungunya have been admitted at the K.C. General Hospital, 12 others were treated as outpatients. The BBMP’s Srirampuram Referral Hospital received five cases with symptoms of chikungunya.
