State badminton from July 19

NEW DELHI: The Delhi State badminton championship will be held at the Karnail Singh Stadium badminton hall here from July 19 to 23.

Apart from the men’s and women’s sections, competitions will be held for boys and girls in the under-10, under-13, under-16 and under-19 sections.

The championship is one of the events considered for selecting the Delhi teams for the various National championships in the season ahead and also for the North Zone inter-State championship to be held at Jalandhar in the last week of September.

Entry forms are available at the venue between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on all working days. Entries close with Rajiv Mehta (92127-55366) on July 16 by 6 p.m. — Special Correspondent
