Evidence to prosecute Mayawati: CBI

New Delhi: The CBI on Thursday told the Supreme Court that there was “sufficient” evidence to prosecute Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati in a disproportionate assets case registered against her five years ago.

The investigating agency filed an affidavit in the apex court saying it will shortly file a chargesheet in the disproportionate assets case.
