HYDERABAD: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of employees, teachers and workers has threatened to launch a strike if the State government did not concede its demands, mainly rectification of anomalies in the implementation of the eighth Pay Revision Commission (PRC) recommendations. This was announced by JAC chairman V. Gopal Reddy at the dharna organised by non-gazetted staff as part of a State-wide agitation called by the organisation in support of its demands on Thursday. The ninth PRC would serve no purpose if the anomalies continued, he said. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
