SSDA in quarterfinals

NEW DELHI: Sudan South Delhi Academy (SSDA) beat AGDAV School (Model Town) by six wickets in the pre-quarterfinals of the Ram Manohar Lohia memorial under-19 cricket tournament at the Ramjas ground.

Wicketkeeper Amir Baig was declared the ‘man of the match’ for his two stumpings and three catches.

The scores: AGDAV 118 in 34.1 overs (Sonu Rathi 30, Nakul Chopra 25, Akash Sudan three for 18) lost to Sudan South Delhi Academy 119 for four in 24.3 overs (Nimit Saini 57, Tarun Jaiswal 34, Sumit Budhiraja three for 25).
