Stay against conducting KCA AGM

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Alappuzha has ordered interim stay on the conduct of the annual general meeting of the Kerala Cricket Association in Kumarakom on Saturday.

The interim order was passed by the three-member Forum on Friday evening after hearing of a petition filed by Sanal Kumar, who approached it to direct the KCA in convening an AGM for settling its accounts for 2006-07 prior to taking up the accounts of 2007-08 for settlement. The Forum will hear the case next on July 19.

None of the top KCA officials were immediately available for comment. — Special Correspondent
