Arrested for killing daughter

The Kanchanbagh police on Friday arrested a labourer who had been absconding after allegedly murdering his one-year-old daughter two weeks ago. Mir Osman Ali, admitted to the police that he killed his daughter since he suspected his wife’s fidelity.

Students held for theft

Four students, all below 15, were arrested by the city police on Friday on the charge of stealing motorcycles in Secunderabad area. Four stolen bikes were recovered from them. The teenagers were stealing the two-wheelers and selling them in order to lead a lavish life.

Gangster’s aides held

Shaik Saijd and Shaik Allauddin, associates of alleged gangster Mohd. Khaiser, were arrested by the city police on Friday.
