Ravi scalps five

VISAKHAPATNAM: East Godavari off-spinner K. Ravi Shankar picked up five wickets against Srikakulam on the first day of the round-robin match, in the ACA North Zone inter-district seniors’ tournament here on Friday.

The scores: Srikakulam 243 in 69.3 overs (A. Meghanadh 76, M.S. Deepak Kumar 72, P. Suresh Kumar 42, K. Ravi Shankar five for 67, A. Veera Babu four for 43) vs. East Godavari 95 for two in 20 overs (M. Krishna Murthy 46 batting).

Visakhapatnam 234 in 66.4 overs (T. Atchuta Rao 87 not out, V. Abraham 46) vs. Vizianagaram 57 for four in 24 overs.
