Power cuts reduced in Punjab

Patiala: Punjab State Electricity Board on Saturday reduced the duration of power cuts to 2-4 hours per day following reduction in demand due to heavy rains lashing the State.

“Due to rains in Punjab and adjoining States, the demand for power reduced substantially and the Board was able to reduce the power cuts to around 2 -4 hours,” PSEB Chairman Y.S. Ratra said.
