Sandalwood seized

Chittoor: Special branch CI Anjaneyulu and his staff seized one-and-half tonne sandalwood worth Rs. 5 lakh along with adulterated crude oil dumped in the fields of one Babu near Thambuganipalli Cross in Bangarupalem mandal on the National Highway Chennai to Bangalore on Saturday evening. Srinivasulu (32) Sarpanch of Chiguruvaripalli, was arrested in this connection. — Staff Reporter
