First Russia Consul in Hyderabad

NEW DELHI: President Pratibha Patil has recognised the appointment of Andhra Pradesh Government’s Advisor (Industries) Peter Toghrille Hassan as the Honorary Consul for Russian Federation in Hyderabad with immediate effect. He will have jurisdiction over the entire Hyderabad city.

An AP Information Centre release claimed this an unique honour for the State as the Russian Federation is the first country to have a Honorary Consul at Hyderabad. As Advisor to the State Mr. Hassan had contributed to accelerate the flow of investments into the State.
