Navdeep wins doubles title

NEW DELHI: Navdeep Singh in partnership with Richard Ruckelshausen of Austria defeated the third-seeded Alexander Somogyi of Slovakia and Rohan Gajjar 6-3, 7-5 in the doubles final of the $15,000 ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament in Damascus, Syria.

Earlier the pair had beaten Pierre-Ludovic Duclos of Canada and Dmitri Sitak of Russia 4-6, 7-6(5), 10-4 in the semifinals.
