Bangalore: Governor Rameshwar Thakur, who is also the Chancellor of the universities in the State, has appointed S. Ramananda Shetty, retired Director of Medical Education, as Vice-Chancellor of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences for a period of three years from the date of his assumption of office or till he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
