CPI jatha against coastal corridor

Srikakulam: The CPI sponsored week-long jatha against the proposed coastal corridor of the government would be flagged off by CPI State secretary K.Narayana at Donkuru near here on Tuesday.

Giving details of the jatha here on Sunday, party district secretary Chapara Sundara Lal and Rythu Sangham secretary R. Appayya said similar jathas would start in Tada in Nellore district and there would be a joint meeting in Vijayawada on July 25.

The objective of the jathas was to create awareness among peopleabout the harmful consequences of the proposal.
