ONGC Cup football

NEW DELHI: St. Columba’s will take on St. Michael’s School in the inaugural match of the ONGC Cup Hind Kishore school football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Monday.

Twelve teams have been divided into four groups. Following the league, group winners will qualify for the semifinals. Final is slated for July 24.

The groups:

Group ‘A’: St. Columba’s, St. Michael (Pusa Road) and Sanskriti School; Group ‘B’: Delhi Public School (Vasant Kunj), Sri Ram School (Gurgaon) and Ryan International (Noida); Group ‘C’: Modern School (Vasant Vihar), Air Force School, (Subroto Park) and Springdales School (Pusa Road); Group ‘D’: Frank Anthony Public School, Bal Bharti Public School (Noida) and Hillwood’s Academy. — Special Correspondent
