Anil Kumar in WBC panel

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: R. Anil Kumar, the CEO of Sportzindia Management, has been named to the executive committee of the World Basketball Club (WBC) for the India-Middle East region.

The WBC, is being organised by American Basketball Association (ABA), will have professional basketball teams from around the world competing for the title and the tournament will be held in July 2010.

Anil Kumar will be overseeing the activities in India, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanaka and Thailand. — Principal Correspondent
