Title for Jolly Cricketers

Bangalore: Jolly Cricketers emerged champion in the KSCA Group I, second division league that concluded here recently.

Jolly Cricketers was tied with Mount Joy and Modern CC with 16 points each but inched ahead on the basis of a better wicket-rate of 1.7. In its last league match that concluded in a draw, Jolly Cricketers scored 280 for five in 55 overs and in reply, Modern CC scored 175 for six at close with Syed Ibrez chipping in an 87.

Bangalore United CC (1) 232 in 53.4 overs (Siddharth 69, C. Raghu 63, Prem 46) lost to Jayanagar Colts 233 for nine in 48.1 overs (Ashok 41, C. Raghu five for 45).
