Bridgeport (USA): Arjun Atwal’s form slump continued and he carded a four-over 76 in the penultimate round of Nationwide Tour Players Cup golf to slide to the tied 65th spot in the $1 million event here. The Orlando-based golfer, who is trying to earn back his PGA Tour card, has a three-round total of three-over 219 at the Pete Dye Golf Club. At the top, Rick Price grabbed a one-stroke lead after firing a 66 that took his total to 15-under 201. Price was followed a stroke behind by Chris Anderson (66). David Brandshaw took the third spot a shot behind Anderson after carding a seven-under 65. — PTI © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
