Building develops cracks

A multi-storeyed housing complex that is located near Maris Stella College developed cracks due to digging operations in the neighbouring plot, creating panic in the city. Municipal Commissioner P. S. Pradyumna visited the spot, and instructed the builders to take adequate measures to ensure that digging did not affect the neighbouring building. Kankipadu MLA Devineni asked the commissioner to stop the construction work until requisite safety measures were taken. Staff Reporter
