16 arrested

TIRUVANNAMALAI: Sixteen persons were arrested in connection with a clash between two groups of youths at a marriage procession in Ayyampalayam, about 7 km from here, on Sunday night.

According to the police, eight persons were injured in the clash.

The arrested persons were remanded to judicial custody.
