Divine occasion: The Mahasamprokshanam of Sri Seethalakshmana Hanumath Sri Pattabiramar Temple in Perugavazhndan village in Mannargudi taluk in Tiruvarur district is being performed on Monday. TIRUVARUR: The mahasamprokshanam of Sri Seethalakshmana Hanumath Samedha Sri Pattabiramar Temple was performed on Monday at Perugavazhndan village in Mannargudi taluk in Tiuruvarur district. Hundreds of people witnessed the pouring of holy water on the Kaklasams of the temple. Garudasevai was held in the evening. Lord Rama is in the form of Pattabishekam at the temple. There are separate temples for Sri Kothandaramar, Sri Lakshminarayanan, Alwars, Sri Nigamandamahadesikan, Garudalwar and Anjaneya. S. Ranganathan, secretary, Cauvery Delta Farmers Welfare Association and A.K.S. Vijayan, Nagapattinam MP, participated in the holy event. Soliswarar temple in NagapattinamThousands of devotees witnessed the Mahakumbabishekam of the 12th century Goddess Soundara Nayaki Ambal samedha Lord Soliswarar temple at Kuthalam near Mayiladuturai in Nagapattinam district performed on Monday morning. Sri Soliswarar Kaingarya Sabha, Chennai, carried out the renovation work and made arrangements for the Mahakumbabishekam. KumbabhishekamA large number of devotees witnessed the ‘kumbabhishekam’ of Sri Vyagrapureeswarar – Sri Brahadambal temple at Tiruvengaivasal near Annavasal in the district on Monday. Amidst religious fervour, the holy waters from the ‘gatams’ were taken out at the end of fourth ‘kaala’ pujai and poured on the ‘vimanams’ of various shrines, marking the ‘kumbabhishekam.’ Union Minister of State for Environment and Forests S.
