Big win for Abhinava Bharathi

Mysore: Last year’s runner-up Abhinava Bharathi HS, Mandya, scored a 153-run victory over Baden Powell HS and entered the quarterfinals in the ACUK Mysore Forum School cricket tournament’ 2008, played here on Monday.

The scores: Group ‘A’: Abhinava Bharathi HS 182 for five in 30 overs (Abhishek 57, H.R. Kiran 44) bt Baden Powell HS 29 in 21.2 overs.

Group ‘C’: Rotary HS (N’gud) 234 for five in 30 overs (I. Chethan 41) bt Acharaya Vidyakula HS 91 for eight in 30 overs.

Group ‘D’: CFTRI HS 113 in 29.3 overs lost to St. Joseph’s HS (Central) 117 for two in 20.5 overs.
