The Emu farmers welfare association, at its meeting on Sunday, decided to sell a seven-day-old bird for Rs.3,500 and an egg for Rs.1,500 in view of rising input costs. The meeting elected a new general body with Vemulapalli Lakshminarayana and D. Sambi Reddy as president and secretary.
