IPS officers shuffled

CHENNAI: The State government on Monday shuffled several IPS officers.

Abhay Kumar Singh, Deputy Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai, has been transferred as Joint Commissioner of Police, North Zone, Chennai Police, vice M. Ravi, transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Administration, Chennai. He replaces A.M.S. Gunaseelan, transferred as Joint Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Chennai Police, vice G. Dorairaj, transferred as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kancheepuram Range, in the place of E. Ma. Masanamuthu, transferred as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Villupuram Range.

D. Kalpana Nayak, Superintendent of Police, posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime and Traffic, Tirunelveli City.

Mahendra Kumar Rathod, Commandant, Regimental Centre, Avadi, transferred as Commandant, Tamil Nadu Special Police IX Battalion, Manimuthar, vice R. Tamilchandran, transferred as Superintendent of Police, Enforcement, Madurai.

Kapilkumar C. Saratkar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime, Madurai City, transferred as Superintendent of Police, Kanyakumari District, in the place of Sathosh Kumar, transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic (North), Chennai Police, vice R. Lalitha Lakshmi transferred as Superintendent of Police, Western Range, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Coimbatore.

R. Samuthirapandi, Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Special Investigation Cell, Chennai, transferred as Superintendent of Police, Civil Supplies, CID, Chennai, in the place of N.M. Mayilvahanan.
