Court orders conditional return of passport

CHENNAI: The Madras High Court on Monday ordered the conditional return of the passport of Appu, an accused in the Sankararaman murder case, for three months to enable him to go to the U.S. for treatment. This followed a petition filed by his counsel G. Saravana Kumar.

Justice T. Sudanthiram said the petitioner should fulfil the formalities, within four weeks, before the sessions court at Puducherry, where the case is pending.
