Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BBCI) on Monday rejected the contention of the World Anti-Doping Agency in Pakistan that it had violated the global body’s rules by prematurely identifying Pakistan paceman Mohd. Asif who failed a dope test during the IPL tournament in India. Ratnakar Shetty, Chief Administrative Officer of BCCI, said the Board had taken the right step by naming Asif. — PTI © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
