Swamy felicitated in U.S.

CHENNAI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy was felicitated at a function at a newly consecrated Sharada Devi hill shrine at Stroudsburg in Pennsylvania, U.S.

Representatives of the Sankaracharya of the Sringeri Mutt presented a citation to Dr. Swamy, lauding his efforts to articulate the interests of the Hindu community, according to a press note from the Janata Party.

Dr. Swamy is now on an assignment to teach economics at Harvard University and expected to return to India in mid-August.
