Refex Refrigerants sales and profit up

CHENNAI: Refex Refrigerants has achieved a higher turnover of Rs. 68.80 crore in the first quarter of 2008-09 against Rs. 16.07 crore in the year-ago period. The net profit has risen to Rs. 5.51 crore from Rs. 2.38 crore. Anil Jain, Managing Director, has indicated in a release that the acquisition of Kaltech Engineering & Refrigeration of Singapore had helped the company to achieve higher turnover and profit. — Corporate Reporter
