BGR Energy bags Rs. 4,900 cr. EPC contract

CHENNAI: BGR Energy Systems has secured the single largest EPC contract worth Rs. 4,900 crore for the 2 x 600 MW Kalisindh thermal power project at Jhalawar, Rajasthan from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpan Nigam. The contract includes design, engineering, supply of boiler, steam turbine generator and complete balance of plant equipment.The project will be completed in 42 months, says a release. — Corporate Reporter
