Dharwad downs Shimoga

Bangalore: Nitin Bhille’s 93 and Dominic Fernandes’ four for 14 spell helped Dharwad defeat Shimoga by 99 runs in a KSCA inter-zonal under-22 tournament match here on Wednesday.

The scores: Dharwad 242 for four in 45 overs (Nitin Bhille 93, P. Santhosh 81) bt Shimoga 143 in 40.2 overs (Raghavendra 56, Dominic Fernandes four for 14); Mangalore 196 in 49.1 overs (K.L. Rahul 56, M.R. Darshan four for 56) bt Mysore 131 in 42.3 overs.
